Welcome to Washington State's Cascade Loop Scenic Highway.
Our self-guided driving tour begins just 28 miles North of Seattle. We circle through the spectacular Cascade mountain range and embrace the vineyard-laden Columbia River Valley, glacier-fed Lake Chelan, and the Wild West territory of the Methow Valley. Refresh your sense of wonder in the North Cascades National Park, watching Orca whales play, or picking out your own produce from our fertile farmlands. Enjoy diverse terrain, wild natural areas, quaint towns with comfortable lodging, and stunning views all within the bounds of our incredible scenic byway.

"Hear our Heritage" as you drive the Cascade Loop Scenic highway! Our brand new two-CD set audio driving tour narrates the stories of our region as you drive. It includes a 50-page heritage guidebook with maps. You begin in Everett/Mukilteo than follow the southern half of the Cascade Loop over Highway 2 (Stevens Pass) to the Columbia River Valley. Or, you can download MP3 files.
Listen to the heritage, stories, folk poetry and traditional music of the people who live in this part of Washington State! Order the CD/guidebook set or download MP3 files. To order on-line click here.
