From the moment families step into Imagine Children's Museum, they are immersed in a world where imagination and playful learning bring the Pacific Northwest to life. As the largest children’s museum in the region, Imagine is a place of discovery, where curiosity leads the way, adventure is around every corner, and hands-on exploration turns every day into something magical.
The journey begins beneath the towering canopy of the Woodlands Adventure exhibit, where a sprawling indoor treehouse invites young explorers to climb through rope tunnels, dash across bridges, and peek inside a massive tree stump. The stump’s rings tell the story of time, growth, and change, just like the towering forests that have shaped the landscape of the Pacific Northwest for generations.
From here, children can choose their own adventure. In one direction, a rustic barnyard hums with activity, where children can milk a cow and hop into the saddle, stepping into the rhythms of farm life that shaped this region. Follow the sound of rushing water, and you’ll discover the WaterWorks exhibit, where kids send balls through twisting tubes, experiment with whirlpools, and harness the power of gravity and motion, much like the rivers that carved the valleys of the Pacific Northwest.
Upstairs, the enchantment of the Puget Sound waters come into focus. A coldwater aquarium shimmers with native marine life, inviting young minds to get up close with the underwater world just beyond our shores. Nearby, a crane overlooks the west side of the building, echoing Everett’s deep roots in industry and innovation, giving children the chance to take control of the crane and imagine the hard work that built the city.
Creativity thrives in the Art Hangout and Tinker Shop, where young makers experiment with color, design, and innovation, blending STEM, creativity, literacy, and family learning in ways that inspire curiosity and hands-on exploration. Beyond the walls of the Museum, outdoor exhibits extend the fun: on the Rooftop Adventure, kids can climb, explore, and engage in active play.

Where FUN begins and LEARNING never ends with hands-on exhibits for kids ages 12 months to 12 years and their family, school group or other organizations.
