The Cascade Loop National Scenic Byway is comprised of nine unique regions that span a 440-mile loop from the salty sea air of the Puget Sound and the Salish sea along lush river valleys of Western Washington, over mountain passes surrounded by dense evergreen forest, past apple orchards and vineyards, through acres of fields and farmland, and the shrub-steppe of the Eastern Washington -- the wildlife and scenery will leave you breathless! Each of the communities along this route have distinctive geography, geology and activities. The best way to enjoy it all, is to explore it all!

Here are a few of our favorites - next time you get a chance to see one of them, try to pick out the scenes shot on the Loop! (Top Gun: Maverick was filmed over the North Cascade mountain range!)
Three of the unique regions on the Cascade Loop are in Chelan County: Leavenworth and the Cascade Foothills, Wenatchee and the Columbia River Valley, and the Lake Chelan Valley. Each region features unique geography, culture and charm, and they all feature amazing recreation opportunities!
