Side Trip: Manson Scenic Loop

Travel seven scenic miles uplake on Hwy 150 from Chelan to reach Manson. Follow the Wine Trail signs through orchards and vineyards and visit over 20 wineries and tasting rooms--each with its own unique personality and flavor. Shop and dine in the village of Manson or spend a leisurely afternoon at the community center, a waterfront park at Manson Bay with picnic facilities, a swim area and boat moorage. The Manson Apple Blossom Festival, held in May, is popular with locals and guests alike. Meander along Manson's Scenic Loop for great views of Wapato, Dry, and Roses lakes. Boat History on Lake Chelan
For over 100 years boats have been transporting goods and passengers to points along Lake Chelan where there are no roads. The original "Lady of the Lake" was built at Lakeside (across the lake from Campbell's) when the lake was too shallow to dock at Chelan.
